Privacy
Groovemark is a Mac app in development. This page covers this website and the waitlist form on it. When the app ships, it will come with its own privacy policy covering the app itself — your recordings never leave your Mac, but that's a promise for another page.
This site is run by Mojo Studios LLC, the company behind Groovemark. If you need to reach a person about anything on this page, email [email protected] — it goes to a human, not a ticket queue.
What the waitlist form collects
When you enter your email and press "Keep me posted.", four things are stored:
- your email address
- the date and time
- your IP address
- which of the two forms on the page you used
That's all of it. No name, no account, no password, no tracking profile.
Why
To email you about Groovemark — around launch and occasionally as it comes together. Nothing else, ever: no newsletter about other products, and the list is never sold, shared, or rented. Every email has a one-click way out.
The IP address is kept to spot abuse of the form. Knowing which form you used tells us which part of the page is doing its job.
Where it's kept, and who can see it
The list is a single file on the web host, stored outside the public web folder so it can't be downloaded from the internet. A notification goes out when someone joins, but it deliberately carries no addresses — only that it happened. Your details stay on the server.
Three companies are involved in running this site and can see traffic to it:
- NixiHost — the web host, where the site and the list live
- Cloudflare — sits in front of the site; sees requests, including IP addresses
- Google — hosts the mailbox [email protected] forwards to, so anything you email us arrives there
There is no Google Analytics here. Traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't follow you between websites. This site sets no cookies of its own, which is why you've never seen a cookie banner on it.
How long it's kept
As long as the list is doing its job — through launch and the announcement, plus a short wind-down after. If Groovemark never launches, the list is deleted and you'll be told.
Getting removed, or asking what's held
Email [email protected] and say so. Your entry gets deleted and you get a reply confirming it. You can also ask what's held about you — the answer will be the four things listed above, and nothing else.
Changes
If this page changes, the date below changes with it and the change is described in plain English. No silent edits.
